13 students gathered on the 12th of Mars to listen to P. Etienne’s lecture. I was pleased to see some new faces. Hopefully, our new argentinian friends, Federico and Tatiana, will join us on future occasions. Additionally, Theodor, our former chairman, was there.

Basically, P. Etienne was going to talk about the Parables of the Hidden Treasure and the Pearl. The parables aren’t long. But the aim of the lecture was to analyse them as deep as possible. Which we did. And the lecture lasted for about 2 hours.

It was an interesting lecture. But the content may be to complex for me to write a report about. One thing I remember from the lecture though, is that the Treasure or the Pearl symbolize something precious, something worth more than anything you’ve ever had. And whatever this precious thing is, you will never find it, if you do not actively search for it.

That is one thing that I’ve learned from the lecture. Search.
