03 Nor/Polish Dinner
20th of Feb, 2008.

Here’s a picture of Piotr (left) and Slavek (right) cooking in the kitchen. The cooking team consisted of Piotr, Slavek and another Piotr for the polish food, and Karoline, Clarisse, Pia and Maria Cao for the norwegian food.

Here we can see the 15 students/young adults plus one priest (P. Al). We were 21 in total that night. Everybody’s busy eating…

From the left: Seul-Ki, Veronica, Daniele and Michele. A warm welcome to Seul-Ki, who’s from South-Korea (her nationality implies that she has no nuclear weapon).

Paulius (left) had also been joining the Student Group meetings lately. We wish him a warm welcome. Huy is the sleepy guy on the right.

After dinner, people were in such a good mood that when some music was played, some started dancing. Here represented by Peter and Clarisse (center). What kind of dance was it again… Tango? Salsa?…

Not only did they dance, but they also sang. Maria Cao (the girl with the purple sweater and her hand on her mouth), Clarisse (black top, blue jeans) and Karoline (white top, black pants) are seen on this picture. They are part of the norwegian cooking team.

Maria (center) trying to make people sing adequately.

Here’s Pia, the fourth member of the norwegian cooking team. And also an excellent lefse-maker, according to a trustworthy source. Lefse is a true norwegian food/dessert.

Here’s the students. Still singing.

And singing. And playing the piano. Two people are playing, actually.

The camera doesn’t always capture the moment, but the students and young adults were actually in a very good mood and smiled most of the night.

That’s it for this time. Bye!
